Tour Long Island Wineries

Do you ever feel like you just need to GET OUT of the city?

I always feel like I need to get out – especially on the weekends. When it’s warm enough I go to the beach or a park. With my mom visiting in March, I wanted to come up with something interesting we could all do together – to Long Island Wineries we went!

We took the Long Island Railroad to Greenport and went on a Vintage Tours guided tour of the North Folk wine region. Our host Jo-Ann picked us up from the Long Island Railroad and took us on our way. She was very informative, personable and taught us a lot.

Even though it was snowy, we still learned about winemaking, tried some awesome wines and walked in the vineyards. Can’t wait to go back when it’s warmer!

Cheers to getting out of the city! Rain or shine, it always seems to be restorative and much-needed to have a mini-adventure.
